# Delete Event Date

> Remove a date from an event.

The event's overall `start` and `end` are recalculated after the date is removed.

## Path Parameters

**id** `integer` *required*

The ID of the event

**date\_id** `integer` *required*

The ID of the date to delete

## Example Request

```bash theme={null}
DELETE /wp-json/latepoint-api/v1/events/2/dates/3
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
```

## Response

## Error Response

If the date does not exist or belongs to another event, you will receive an error:
