# List Events

> Retrieve a list of events with optional filtering, sorting and pagination.

## Query Parameters

**page** `integer` (default: 1)

Page number for pagination

**per\_page** `integer` (default: 10)

Number of events per page

**search** `string`

Search events by name or summary

**status** `string`

Filter by status. Available values: `draft`, `published`, `cancelled`, `completed`

**category\_id** `integer`

Filter by event category ID

**event\_type** `string`

Filter by event type. Available values: `in_person`, `online`

**date\_from** `string`

Only events whose dates end on or after this day (YYYY-MM-DD, site timezone)

**date\_to** `string`

Only events whose dates start on or before this day (YYYY-MM-DD, site timezone)

**sort** `string` (default: start\_datetime\_utc)

Field to sort results by. Valid values: `id`, `name`, `start_datetime_utc`, `created_at`, `order_number`, `price`

**order** `string` (default: asc)

Sort direction. Valid values: `asc`, `desc`

> List items do not include the `dates` array. Use [Get Event](https://docs-restapi.wplimit.com/api-reference/events/get.md) or [List Event Dates](https://docs-restapi.wplimit.com/api-reference/events/dates-list.md) to get them. See [Dates and times](https://docs-restapi.wplimit.com/api-reference/events/overview.md#dates-and-times) for the timezone rules.
